One more look at May's Physical Fitness and Sports Month this First Week in June!
Having returned from a fishing trip with my boys, I checked my computer to see that I had received this email from my pal Charles of South Dakota:
"Chris: It's still in the low 40's up in lead SD so the long johns are still in use. I saw the work out photos and thought I would join you for the fun! Not my typical underwear for a workout but fun just the same.
It was deadlift day, trying to keep good form and be strong!!"
And a cup of coffee on my deck. It looks like the rain is going to break!
Now he's what I'd call a strong man peforming some serious working out in a serious union suit. I'm still wearing my union suits too, here in June in the far north part of the Idaho panhandle. Thought I'd join you on deck for a cup of coffee...
Good fun!! It looks like a gret lake view!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anonymous...It is a super view of Lake Pend Oreille. Do me a favor and add your first name and home town or the region or part of the country you hale from and keep on commenting....It's always interesting to see from where comments originate. No last names are necessary unless one wishes to add. Better yet, send me an email. Would love to hear from you. At any rate, keep in touch...Chris Ayers, (just outside) Sandpoint, Idaho
ReplyDeleteIt's Charles fron SD commenting on your view. I just recive a old white carhartt unionsuit that I picked up off ebay I'll send some photos soon. It is a nice comfy one
ReplyDeleteGood deal Charles. I got an old white Carhartt union suit on eBay a few years ago. I am an avid fan of the older Carhartt unions but not the ones they are selling now with that ridiculous Velcro back door! Maybe we could petition them to return to their earlier design. I have read many negative comments on the current design…….Buckeye Mike
ReplyDeleteBy the way Charles I am jealous of your “neighborhood”…….Buckeye Mike
ReplyDeleteAnd Charles, I'm jealous of your neighbors (lack of). Even on a one acre lot mine are closer than I would like. How much are you dead lifting in the pictures? My back hurts just looking at the pictures! LOL ----- Retro Jeff in Illinois
ReplyDeleteI was able to pull 335lb, it felt good. I was sore for a cupple days afterwards.
