A bit different design than the union suits advertised below, popular a hundred years ago! One of my grandpa's actually wore these in the summer time when, about the end of May, he changed out of his long, full body winter union suits...
Talk about "Athletic Union Suits." In a hot summer of yesteryear, this man and boy stripped down to their abbreviated underwear (BVD's) to play baseball!

That's a great Summer union suit, Clay! Unfortunately, the manufacturer seems to have overlooked a necessary feature on the back side that would make it more practical to wear under summer clothing. ----- Retro Jeff in Illinois
