The Pen Is Mightier Than the Sword!

Chris: I have a humorous union suit story to share. I was working at the car dealership to cover for someone who took off that day recently. Gorgeous crisp sunny day so, of course, I wore a union suit to work. I was waiting on one of our service advisors. I had an old reliable Bic Pen in my hand, the kind with a cap that you have to take off to use.

As I was talking to Mark while using the pen to attend to an itch on my shoulder blade, the top of the pen came off and went halfway down the back of my union suit!! As I was trying unsuccessfully to reach it Mark asked what the heck I was doing. I told him the cap of my pen went down my underwear. I had to wait for the opportunity to discreetly reach up through the trap door to retrieve the cap.

 Spring into Summer.... 

As we transition from spring to summer, more and more of you Union Suit Fans are, most likely, also transitioning out of your winter underwear into more abbreviated ones. I have not as yet, and here we are into June. In northern Idaho we continue to experience cold rain or a rain/snow mix. But, typically, I still wear my union suits a couple weeks into June and then only as pj's to bed at night, mostly all summer as my wife and I leave our windows open to breathe in that wonderful cool mountain air. 

In closing out the winter / spring months, I thought we'd take one last look at those of us enjoying our mornings, staying warm and comfortable in our union suits, drinking that cup of joe.

I've always thought a onesie had built-in feet such as that which an infant or small child would wear. To me, Union suits are worn barefoot or with socks. But, the younger generation likes to call union suits, "onesies." Whatever.... Chris
