Union Suit Fans!

Here are some ideas on how to get the most out of viewing this blog...

One quick way to view past postings is to type in "Union Suit Fan" and then, select "Images" which will open this page:

You can then simply scroll down and choose which ever photo catches your interest. By doing so, you will be taken to the entire posting.

You can also do that with my companion blog, "Union Suit Fans in the Limelight."  Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.

Another hint: Many of you view my postings on your smart phones. But the layout, as I intended, can be quite different from the posting you would be looking at otherwise on a computer or ipad. So, you can usually go to the bottom of the page on your iphone (and perhaps on your android) and just under "Home," you'll see "View Web Version."  Select that and you'll be able to see that which is the actual, intended layout of the posting and that which others see when using their computer or ipad.

Also, when sending comments to a posting, do me and your fellow Union Suit Fans a favor, by including your first name and hometown to your comment.  It's really interesting to see the many places in the U.S., Canada and Europe this site reaches. I know some are reluctant use your hometown even if you have a more common name like Jim, so you can use a region instead of your home town. For example: "Buckeye Mike, Bay Area Bill, Joe of NYC" or "Retro Jeff of Illinois."

When sending emails, tell me about yourself, include a photo or two in your union suit, say where you live, how you got interested in union suits, how you found my blogs, etc. And remember, I never, ever post your photo or name without your expressed permission. I also highly enjoy you becoming a "Guest Contributor" to this blog with your story and photos.

So, get out that camera or smart phone, snap a pic of yourself or partner and get it into an email to me. Or, send in your storied experience, suggestions for topics, or clebrities in their one-piece underwear. Can't do it without you!

Thanks for reading the above suggestions...I'll see you down the road....Chris at cayersnd@gmail.com

While up near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, Arnie and I ran across this scarecrow, a frightful sight for birds anyway. Some guy used his old red combinations to fashion a shirt tucked into his discarded jeans:

He was a real stuffed shirt!

Several of you have emailed asking about any trouble we might have had with the immense Canadian wild fires. We were very fortunate that the fires were east, north and west of us. So, we didn't even know they had spread so far and so fast while we were out of touch with civilization.

Now, I'm home safely in Sandpoint where the air quality here ranges from good to moderate.

Thanks for asking, fellas.

Back Home with a boat load of laundry!

Hey, Guys: I'm back from a relaxing, comfortable and successful camping & fishing trip in Canada. Watch for more entertaining (at least for union suit fans) posts in Union Suit Fan and Union Suit Fans in the Limelight, coming your way before you know it. But first, I got to get some laundry done. I'm out of socks and underwear and my wife ain't gonna touch 'em!

Later, Chris
