Cowpokes, Right Down To Their Union Suits...
Cowboys wouldn't think of wearing any other kind of underwear 'cept a good ole' Union Suit!
I agree, I am realizing that it is practical over a long part of the year not just winter. It is comfortable and provides a nice way to keep the body at a constant body temperature, which I guess is why guys used to wear year round in days past.
Hey Doug and MJ I have a question. You said you wear your union suits at least 10 months of the year {MJ} and you agreed Doug. The question is where do you live? If I lived in a cooler area I would wear them for most of the year as well. The picture above with the motorcycle was taken on June 21 of this year. The temperature outside was 90 degrees with the temp in my garage, where the pic was taken was at least 5 to 10 warmer. At htat time I had not worn a union suit for weeks and it felt great to slip into one for the pic. However it felt equally great to get out of it when the picture session was over. So I'm curious how far north you guys are.
Union suits are the best underwear. Wear mine at least 10 months of the year.

DeleteI now live in Fargo, North Dakota. I grew up on a farm about 100 miles NNW of Fargo.
DeleteAnd I live in northern Wisconsin, so often weather much more aligned to the comfort of wearing a union suit.
