Since May, 2016, an entertaining blog featuring men's and boys' long one-piece underwear aka union suits. Considered old-fashion by some but known to be warm, comfortable, and fun to wear by those of us who swear by 'em! ... Happy Thanksgiving, Union Suit Fans! Enjoy Your Turkey Today!
What's a Gobbler wearing after he's been plucked of his feathers?
Chris: After our company left from our hosting a fine T-Giving Dinner at our home in Dallas and me full as that Turkey in his red union suit you showed on your blog, I kicked off my boots and stipped down to my union suit, sat back in my easy chair and watched the Dallas Cowboys beat Kansas City. Seeing Stanley Steamer and RC in their red union suits each Saturday cheering on their favorite teams, I wondered if my long johns were good luck for my Cowboys. Trouble is my union suits are RED, not exactly the colors of my Cowboys. But I sat there anyway in only my red long johns. I guess it didn't hurt for my long underwear to be the color of the KC Chiefs. Anyway, Dallas won and I'm cracking open another Lone Star beer to celebrate the fact that my team beat both of the superbowl teams this week in only four days! That is something. Here's to a successful rest of the season for Dallas and their fans.... Dan Rayburn - Dallas, TX
Hey Dan, watching football in one's union suit with a favorite beverage is a great way to go, take it from me. Stanley Steamer would certainly agree. And, I'm not sure the color of your "lucky" union suit has to match your team. Steamer's favorite college football team is Georgia Tech, their colors are yellow and white, and he is strickly a red union suit fan. So, go ahead and wear your red long underwear and enjoy the rest of the season....RC
And a HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your family Chris and to all who follow this blog……..Buckeye Mike
